Mechanical Finger Prosthesis II

This prosthesis is applied in cases where part of the finger structure is lost. Depending on the finger movement of the patient, it can open and close completely by means of a special rope. In addition, this product is dressed with a special silicone, providing both a visual and a moving product. This product, specially designed within our company, is very successful in terms of its similarity to human anatomy.

Each product we design is rearranged and produced according to the patient’s measurements. For this, the finger and hand of the patient are scanned with a special scanner. The images taken are processed in the computer environment and a common structure is formed with the finger prosthesis. Afterwards, biocompatible plastic parts are processed with precision CNC produced for this job. Afterwards, special molds are designed for the silicone coating. Silicone, which is imported from abroad and has a very flexible structure for this product, is poured into the molds. After applying the necessary painting techniques to finalize the silicone, the product is dressed on the mechanical finger prosthesis and applied on the patient.

These silicone fingers, which are produced only for cosmetic purposes, have a structure that can be easily worn and removed. It is suitable for patients who want visuality.

These products are specially produced for each patient. For this, the finger and hand of the patient are scanned with a special scanner. Biocompatible silicone imported from abroad is poured into the molds produced. After casting, the silicone finger prosthesis is colored by an expert make-up artist.
